Connection Design
We use the latest Finite Element Analysis technology to carry out connection designs, which allow whole joints to be analysed. Almost any steel section can be connected together, with the analysis aiding the location and designing of stiffening sections or bolt upgrades. This helps us to reduce over-design of the connections.
The connections are all checked to Eurocode 3.
Further, with links to analysis packages, connection geometry and loading can be shared, reducing the time to create the joint and carry out the design, reducing the cost of the analysis. A 3D file can be generated for complex joints to aid design review & documentation.
